Operations Manager
I’ve spent over 16 years at Brecken, working alongside Brenda and the Brecken team – you could say I practically have a “Brecken degree” at this point!
My roles have included medical reception, corporate reception, and through hard work and dedication, I climbed the ladder to become Practice Manager of Brecken Bunbury. Bunbury is our largest practice with over 25 GPs and an allied health team. In my time as practice manager Brecken Bunbury was successful in winning RACGP Practice of the year award and the WAGPET Training practice of the year. As Brecken expanded its reach in the Southwest, I played a key role in coordinating new sites and assisting new managers joining the team. I was also WAGPET Practice manager liaison for the south west region. In 2020, I took my expertise to Perth to become the Operations Manager for the entire organisation. Now my role is varied with assisting our practice managers in accreditation, day to day running of the practices, new projects and acquisitions and working closely with the management team. I thrive off change and a busy environment and the landscape of general practice is perfect for this.
My commitment to growth extends beyond Brecken. I recently completed my Masters in Business and Innovation with Decure Business School. Outside of work I enjoy having weekends in the south west, brunching with friends, coast walks along Scarborough Beach and spending time with my family.
