After completing medical training at the University of Melbourne’s Rural Clinical School and working for 4 years at the Geelong Hospital, Candice moved to Far North Queensland to complete her GP/rural generalist training.  She spent 2 years working in Cooktown and completed her GP anaesthetics training at Hervey Bay Hospital.

Candice has a passion for rural medicine and for providing comprehensive care to all her patients.  She has a special interest in sports medicine, volunteering as team doctor for South West Phoenix soccer club, as well as being on the Australian and Queensland medical teams for Special Olympics.
