Dr Abdel Ghobrial

Dr Ghobrial completed a Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Pharmacy at the University of Queensland and James Cook University Respectively. Dr Ghobrial then moved to WA where he went on to complete his medical degree at the University of Notre Dame Fremantle.

He has experience working at Royal Perth, Rockingham and Armadale Hospitals. Also experience working in general practice in Geraldton and Perth.

Dr Ghobrial’s interests include Internal Medicine, Pharmacology and Skin Cancer Surgery.

Dr Candice Simpson

After completing medical training at the University of Melbourne’s Rural Clinical School and working for 4 years at the Geelong Hospital, Candice moved to Far North Queensland to complete her GP/rural generalist training.  She spent 2 years working in Cooktown and completed her GP anaesthetics training at Hervey Bay Hospital.

Candice has a passion for rural medicine and for providing comprehensive care to all her patients.  She has a special interest in sports medicine, volunteering as team doctor for South West Phoenix soccer club, as well as being on the Australian and Queensland medical teams for Special Olympics.

Dr Yen Lim

Dr Lim obtained her medical degree from the University of Adelaide in 2006. She worked in major hospitals in Adelaide before pursuing a career as a rural GP in Geraldton.

She has moved to Bunbury after 9 years of experience working in Geraldton and Kalgoorlie.

Dr Lim is passionate about providing quality care to her patients. She has a special interest in aged care, chronic diseases management, women’s health and palliative care.

Balancing work and being a mum, her personal interests include travelling, music, running and baking.

Dr Subha Ramachandra

Dr Subha Ramachandra graduated from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India in 2009.

Dr Ramachandra moved to WA in 2014 and has worked in several specialities including paediatrics, obstetrics, General Medicine , Emergency Medicine at Joondalup health campus and Bunbury regional hospital over the last 4 years.

She has interest in all aspects of general medicine specially paediatrics and women’s health.

Outside work she enjoys cooking and spending time with her young family.

Dr Rebecca Hows

Dr Rebecca Hows completed her medical degree at the University of Notre Dame Fremantle in 2013, prior to that she completed an undergraduate degree in neuroscience. Since then she has worked in many different areas throughout rural and metropolitan WA, eventually settling in Bunbury.

Dr Hows is particularly interested in paediatrics and sexual health and has completed further training in these areas.

Dr Fouzia Gul

Dr Gul graduated  from Fatima Jinnah Medical College Lahore, Pakistan, she then completed two years postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Pakistan before moving to Australia in 2011.

Dr Gul has also completed her Master in Public Health from Curtin University Perth, WA in 2012 and has worked in various specialities at Sir Charles Gairdner hospital Perth and Bunbury regional hospital since 2014.  Dr Gul has an interest in all areas of general practice especially women’s health and Paediatrics.

Outside of work Dr Gul enjoys travelling, home decor and spending time with her family .

Dr Sam McTigue

Dr Sam McTigue grew up in Australind and completed his medical degree at the University of WA in 2011. Before completing GP fellowship in 2017 he had previously worked in Perth for major adult and children’s hospitals and Silver Chain palliative care.

Dr Sam offers high quality medical care with a focus on the long term health of his patients, including preventative healthcare and early detection of chronic diseases, travel medicine/immunisations, and minor surgical procedures such as wound repairs, suspected skin cancers, and insertion/removal of Implanon contraception. Dr Sam also conducts occupational health assessments and is a certified practitioner for railway medical assessments.

Dr Aisling Ni Bhroin

Dr Aisling studied medicine in Dublin, Ireland where she obtained her medical degree and came out to Perth after her intern year. She has been working in Perth since then and started her GP training in WA.

Dr Aisling worked in the Emergency Department in Fiona Standley Hospital and Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital and did rural training in Karratha. Dr Aisling spent a year working in King Edwards hospital doing Obstetrics and gynaecology.

Dr Aisling studied French and Spanish at University before doing medicine and loves meeting people from overseas, and practicing speaking in French and Spanish!

Dr Aisling is living in Bunbury with her family and they enjoy sports. Both watching sports and playing sports in their spare time, as well as eating all the good food the South West has to offer!

Dr Gregory Parkin Smith

Dr Parkin-Smith initially qualified as a chiropractor in South Africa, after which he worked as both a university academic and chiropractor across South Africa, UK and Australia for 13 years. He completed a MSc (Clin Neuro) and a Doctorate (DrHC) while working in the UK, at University College and King’s College, London, respectively. He read medicine as a mature student at Bart’s & the Royal London School of Medicine, University of London, and qualified in 2007. He completed his medical Internship in the UK before immigrating to Australia, where he subsequently undertook his postgraduate medical training.

He is now living with his family in Busselton, where he and his family intend to remain, while practicing full-time as a GP. He continues to participate in academic practice and published 2-3 research papers yearly in reputable peer-reviewed journals. Apart from practicing as a GP, his special interest areas are chronic spinal pain, musculoskeletal medicine, mental health and occupational medicine. He was past co-chair of the WA Department of Health Working Group on Chronic Pain and a participant in the development of musculoskeletal and chronic pain models of care for the WA Department of Health Healthcare Network.

Dr Yulia Bazay

Dr Yulia Bazay graduated from Siberian Medical University in Russia at the Faculty of General Practice in 2004.

Dr Bazay is a General Practitioner with special interest in dermatology and sexual health (both men and women).

Previously, Yulia was working as a Dermatology Specialist and seeing patients of all ages with different skin conditions.  Dr Yulia would love to see patients for skin health and skin checks, as she believe skin checks can save lifes! Dr Yulia can also assist with management of chronic skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, dry skin, lichen, atopic dermatitis and scalp conditions as well as pathological conditions of nails and nail beds.

Yulia has a huge interest in Aesthetic medicine and Medical Laser procedures e.g.  ablation, removal of benign skin lesions, acne and rosacea.

Yulia can offer care and advice regarding contraception and perform cervical tests, breast checks and Implanon insertions.
