Bunbury physiotherapy

Brecken Physiotherapy Clinic is located within the Greater Bunbury Medical Centre, 12-16 Vasse Street, Bunbury. You can find us in Suite 4 on the Ground Floor.

Our Physiotherapy Clinic has four experienced physiotherapists, adopting an evidence-based approach to manage your injuries. In particular, we have a special interest in musculoskeletal presentations.

At Brecken Physiotherapy, we aim to ease your pain, help you move better, to improve functionality and to reach your best potential. We support you to implement self management strategies at home to achieve your best functional long-term outcome, whether that be for work, sport or home environment and daily activities.

What areas do you specialise in?

Our physiotherapists cover their own areas of special interest, which includes women’s health issues such as pregnancy-related problems, pelvic girdle pain, postnatal recovery, abdominal separation, prolapse management, and pelvic floor health.

Further special interests include chronic pain management, spinal manipulation, lymphoedema, strength and conditioning training, personalised exercise programmes and sports injuries management and return to field of play. We also assist the elderly, identify fall risks, and assist with generalised aches and pains as well as osteoarthritis.

What is your physiotherapy approach?

We aim to empower you, our patient, with the knowledge of self management strategies, so as to achieve your long term goals and functional ability specified for your needs and requirements.

We are first-line practitioners, so no need for a doctor’s referral.

We manage injuries sustained at work and work in close collaboration with the doctor, employer and case manager to monitor your safe and graded return to work.

We are also the preferred providers for BUPA and Medibank, and are NDIS-recognised.

All four of our physiotherapists are registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Agency (AHPRA), as well as the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA).
