What does a Functional Capacity Evaluation include?

Brecken Health can conduct a Functional Capacity Evaluation to assess an individual’s current capacity to undertake physical and work-related tasks.

This includes looking at your medical history, blood pressure, range of motion, joint stability, balance, muscular strength/endurance, lifting technique and aerobic capacity.

We can provide you with paperwork or companies can choose to use their own. Functional Capacity Evaluations can also be tailored specifically to designated roles within your company.

How do you develop a Return To Work or Sport program?

By working with our physiotherapists and GPs, our Exercise Physiologist has developed a graduated Return To Work/Sport exercise program that will help you return to functional movement, specific to your workplace or sporting tasks.

Our Exercise Physiologist can turn a long-term chronic injury into a manageable and readily-treated issue.

What sports-specific training do you offer?

Your ability to maximise your sporting performance can be enhanced by our Exercise Physiologist and their application of current Sports Science techniques.

Application and variation of the FITT principle will be applied to best suit your individual goals.

What does an ergonomic assessment include?

We provide workplace assessments that are designed to assess how both posture and workstation setup can minimise risk and injury.

We can provide one-on-one or group assessments at your workplace.
